Schala Cantate walked out of Prophecy and looked for a place she could sit down.

It had been such a long time since she had seen her sister. She hoped she was still alive, although with all the years gone by, Schala was beginning to lose hope.

Well, anyway, she was hoping to find some other Time Lord who might know about her sister. It would take a long time to find one, but with so many in the space station she could be able to find someone who had heard of her, or maybe even of Schala's family history...

Nah. Only the High Council would have more than five percent of information, and she wasn't too keen on seeing them anyway. So now it was find someone and hope that they knew something, which was pretty impossible under the circumstances, so she just decided to sit at a table.

She sighed. And again. At this rate she might never find--wait a minute. There was no need to think like that. After all, there was every possibility that her sister was still alive, and was searching for her.

Schala decided to keep that thought in her head as she looked at all the Time Lords. Surely one of them must know something...?

(( Oooh an open thread -bounces- ))

Circuling outside a nebula not too far from Neptune. Anjali lost control of Ixion. He was spinning out of control. She fiddled with levers and buttons, but he kept beeping and buzzing. She swore softly under her breath and tried to re-route the crash away from the Nebula. It did a dimensional jump and landed on what she hoped was somwhere friendly.

Exitting what looked like an F-16 jet, she sighed and rolled her eyes. Ixion and his malfunctioning chamelon circuit. She secured the key in her pocket and was about to go and wander about to see if she could find some supplies or buy some time to get Ixion fixed. But she realized it might be weird to have an Earth Jet just sitting on the space station. She went inside and dove around for a tarp of some kind to throw over the shiny black F-16 jet.

Then made her way deeper into what looked like a space station. She had no idea what Time or area of space this was in. But she did feel that tug on her mind. There was another Time Lord here. She smiled. Maybe they had something to help fix her TARDIS. Poor, poor Ixion, glitchy as all hell, but he was dependable.

Wearing a long velvet dress with slits going up to the thigh, smooth pleather pants underneath, and combat boots spray painted with UV paint. The dress was strapless and a deep, bold red. She had a matching scarf to tie around her mass of curls like a headband with the ends of it grazing her shoulders. She had moon rock earrings that spun as if they had their own orbit. Like tiny electrons buzzing and vibrating around her head. In her hand was a small bag with a giant blinking eye on it, the strap was what looked like connected bones of some kind.

Walking in that confident way she went over and sat at a table and took out a PDA looking gadget from her strange bag the eye blinked as if irritated that something was missing from the bag, but she didn't pay it much attention. People around her were staring at her, but she seemed to be used to this too. She seemed preoccupied with the gadget. Which, as she opened it, a holographic image popped up.

It was a TARDIS. She was examining Ixion's schematics. She realized that she was on what appeared to be a leisure station. She could definitely refuel here. She tapped on the screen of the gadget and different elements of Ixion changed the holographic image floating over her PDA looking gadget. There were maps and read outs popping up in the holographic light, equations scrolling across open air and little engineer notes and other things of that nature.

"I am beginning to think it was that comet storm we went through, Ixxy, must have hurt you something fierce if you're spazzing out on me ..." she murmured to herself, or to the nonexistant Ixion floating as a hologram in front of her. Pushing a few more buttons examing other parts she eventually sighed. She didn't have the slightest clue as to what was the matter with him.

Anjali looked up and saw that there was a woman sitting at a table not too far from her. That empathy cord pulsed. This was the other Time lord. She figured maybe she could help. She went over and sat uninivited at the other woman's table.

"Excuse me..." she said, and smiled. "I was wondering if you could help me...". She was taking a chance of course. Not all Time Lords were so friendly and eager to help another Time Lord, as she found out, meeting Syn. But she figured it was the most logical place to start if she needed technical advice, as most Time Lords had the same vehicle.

Another Time Lord. And she was asking for help. Well, perhaps Schala could find something out about her sister?

"I can help you," Schala said. "Just tell me what it is you need, and I'll do the best I can."

She wasn't really sure if she could help this Time Lord with whatever she needed, but she would try. She decided not to ask about her sister just yet, as she didn't even know the other girl's name.

Although...this was the first time someone had actually come up to her and talked to her since she had last seen her sister. It was a pleasent surprise, to say the least, and she was hoping for some help as well...perhaps the other girl would help her in return? She did seem friendly enough.

"Well, introductions. My name is Schalacantate, but you can just call me Schala."

She hoped that the other girl would say her name. Perhaps Schala had found a friend at last among every Time Lord to roam Gallifrey. That didn't count the friends she had met at the Academy, although they had been hard to find as most of them were actually getting jobs. Her mother and sister had been friends too, but maybe...just maybe...

"Now, what is it you need help with?"

"I'm Anjali" she replied. She hardly, if ever used her full name. Her parents used her full name when she was in trouble, as most parents no matter what planet, tend to do. And her lovers, which were few and far between, they used her real name, her full name as well. It was one of those old fashioned Gallifreyan names, that sounded wrong without the right inflections of Time and space encompassed around the sound of the word.

She placed the pad on the table between them without pressing any buttons or activating anything. "Its my TARDIS, see, he's gone all fickle, I practically crash landed here. after a jump, otherwise I'd be on my fifth go 'round from having burned in a nebula." she replied.

Then she tapped the pad. "Its not the chameleon circuit, that's glitchy no matter what, but the meta stabilizers are ... I can't figure it out. I don't think its fuel or anything, I just came from a rift not too long ago, though there may be something else, like a bug or virus or something that's draining the fuel. " she continued to explain. People forgot that TARDI are organic sentient beings even if they are 'space ships'. She was concerned that Ixion was sick. And if that was the case she needed to know the remedy to help him.

She continued to push buttons and show off Ixion's schematics. It was potentially dangerous to show this information to someone who wasn't a Time Lord as the technology was highly advanced. She had never had Ixion stolen from her and she wasn't planning on having that happen any time soon.

Pushing the PDA gadget toward Schala as it continued to flash holographic images and equations and stats and information in other dialects, codes and other information, she looked up at her, leaning cheek on her palm like holding her head up on a kick stand, "Got any thoughts?" she asked.

Hm...Anjali's TARDIS sounded like it was sick.

"I really don't know much about TARDIS bugs, but I'll see what I can do." The last thing Schala wanted to do was contact the High Council. She got back into Prophecy (which was in the form of a bookshelf) and searched the database for any possible sickness history.

She finally found it! It was during the time she had been materializing at the same jungle for a week. It had been during her time with her sister, and they had always spent the day exploring the jungle and that night they would go back to Prophecy and see if she worked again. Finally, Nerylisia (the sister) had found out that a piece of asteroid was stuck in Prophecy's circuits, and she and Schala had worked together to get it out. It hadn't been easy, but it had worked.

She walked out and spoke.

"Angali, did you fly through a meteor shower or something of the sort? Because I once got a bit of asteriod stuck in Prophecy's circuits, It's not really the same as your problem as it kept taking me to the same place, so I didn't get anywhere."

She hoped it would work.

Anjali watched as the other time lord wandered off into a bookshelf. She smirked to herself. She wondered if she had intentionally wanted that form for her TARDIS. Or if she had a glitchy chameleon circuit like Ixion did. He had taken the form of a book case one noteable time. It wasn't appropriate as she was on a planet that was known for its surfing methane oceons. She got a few curious stares.

As Schala exitted looking somewhat hopeful if not a little triumphant. She listened to what she said and her brow furrowed and flopped from one side to the other in thought. "You know, come to think of it, there was this comet ..." she drifted off as her gaze went over to the tarp covered F-16 jet. She shot up and walked over to him.

Tossing the tarp off she disappeared inside and there was a series of clangs and bangs and other such noises, and then there was a shout 'In coming !' and a comet darted out of the jet and flew around the station like a fly buzzing and flying about before it died. The comet crashed in the middle of the station. It was the size of a pebble so the crater it left was nothing monumentous.

An alarm went off and Anjali cringed. The circits were completely fried. Ixion started to charge up, and Anjali had to race to the control board to keep the dimensional jump from happening. She had it programmed so that if anything too drastic happened to Ixion's health he would go directly back to Gallifrey so she could get him proper help.

She managed to stall the jump for a little bit and then she exitted and looked a little winded. Givng a forced smile she walked back over to Schala and sat down like a comet didn't just fly out of her 'ship' and then try to vanish off without her giving a proper thank you.

"Hiii ..." she said tensely and then gave a nervous chuckle and mussed her dark mass of curls. "It was a comet ... so it seems..." she whispered and managed to look sheepish. "Don't know why I didn't go with my gut and just assume that was the problem, ...eheheheheheh" she said with another nervous laugh. Looking across the room she saw the comet stone and went over to pick it up and then made her way over to sit back down across from the other Time lord.

There was a comet? Well, that made sense. Those space rocks were always mischievious, so Schala was not surprised.

She watched Anjili walk back into her TARDIS. After that she pondered for a bit. Perhaps it was time to bring up the topic of Nerylisia? The two Time Lords together just might be able to find her. Why, if Schala searched one half of the universe and Anjili searced the other, one of them would probably find something...

She heard a bunch of clangs and bangs. Anjili must be working hard to fix her TARDIS, Schala thought.

Then, suddenly...

"Incoming!" was what Schala heard. At that shout she was prepared for anything, for a meteorite to a hostile spaceship.

What actually appeared was, much to her surprise, what looked like a pebble-sized comet. It whizzed out of Anjili's TARDIS, and it was flying about like a little lightning bug before it crashed in the middle of the station.

"Whoa. Just...whoa."

Then an alarm went off. What was happening?

It didn't last that long. No, it did not. In fact, a few moments after Anjili walked out of her TARDIS and sat down across from Schala. She was telling her how it was a comet and chuckling nervously. Then she walked to where the small bit of space junk had landed, picked it up, and sat down again.

Schala was interested.

"What are you doing with that?"

Anjali sighed and tossed the comet stone in her hand back and forth. " Good question, probably turn it into a bracelet or necklace or something. I have plenty of other moon rock jewelry, a comet stone would be a nice addition." she said and gave Schala a smile. "Thanks by the way." she said and put the stone in her pocket and reached for her PDA padd thing and tapped a few buttons before she squealed and ran for her TARDIS.

It was charging up again, and vanished before she could get to it. She returned to her seat across from the other Time Lord. Today just wasn't her day. She would make a note of the date and remember to do something else on this day to re-write the memory. The beauty of being a Time Lord. Time can be re-written. She looked up at Schala. " Don't think you can drop me off at Gallifrey, do you? I have him programmed if anything goes wrong, he just goes back there for repair. I tried to delay the jump so I could thank you and didn't think it would be that short, so he poofed off without me.." Anjali sighed.

She finished punching the buttons on the padd so that it was fully shut down. "I can owe you, if you want. I mean, if you need a favor from me, I can return it, you know ... ." she offered hoping that it would help persuade the other Time Lord to say yes and drop her off to Gallifrey so she could get her TARDIS back, before her parents noticed it was there and meet her there. She soo did not want to talk with them. They were like on a broken record time loop, as they always asked the same questions. Questions she'd rather not think about.

"That jewelry thing sounds like a cool idea," Schala said. "When I was a little little girl, I once made this necklace from a loose clothing thread and some shiny stones I found in a cavern."

She decided that the part about her being raised in a cavern could wait, as could the stuff about her protective mother not wanting to send her to the Acadamy.

"I keep it in my TARDIS along with all my jewelry."

Suddenly, Anjili's TARDIS left. Why had it abandoned her? That wasn't very...

Then it was all explained. The TARDIS was programmed to go back to Gallifrey whenever it had a problem. Schala was a little flattered that Anjili had slowed the jump just to thank her, which she didn't have to do.

"You didn't have to wait for me," Schala said with a faint giggle. "But thank you anyway. And I would be happy to take you back to Gallifrey. Just let me open Prophecy's door for you."

She walked over to her TARDIS and opened the door. Inside it looked rather royal with all kinds of elegance.

"After you."

Anjali smiled and thanked Schala multiple times over. She bowed back matching her royal elegance and then went into the other Time Lord's TARDIS. The immediate thing she noticed was how different the interior of the bridge, the main deck looked than Ixion's own. Prophecy was very regal, orderly, in comparison to Ixion, and a bit brighter. There were plants and windows, it was all blues and purples. Anjali always thought it was interesting to see how different Time Lord's decorated their TARDIS. It was said to reflect the Time Lord his/herself.

That thought struck an off note. What would Ixion's dark, shadowy bridge with moon rocks and furry creatures crawling all over it, say about her, she wondered. Deciding it best not to think about it, she turned back to Schala and smiled. " Its really kind of you to do this for me, I feel so foolish, if there is anything I can do for you in return, anything, just let me know" she replied.

Looking around for a place to sit, and feeling slightly awkward she rocked on her heels. She resisted the urge to walk over to the console. This wasn't her TARDIS, she wouldn't try to drive or anything unless she got the okay. Ixion always locked the controls when someone else tried to drive him, or he just got glitchy-er and moody. He was attached to Anjali and didn't take too kindly on any other driver. The same way an infant would cry when held by someone else, but once they are back in their mother's arms, they drift into a content silence.

She hoped her prescence wouldn't make the Prophecy any glitchy-er than it normally was.
